THANK YOU for your interest in being a commercial vendor at the Sanpete County Fair!
Listed below are general requirements and information concerning the application for operation of a commercial vendor booth during the fair.
Download the Vendor Handbook for all detailed information and specific rules.
ALL vendors should carefully read through the rules before accepting a booth space.

Vendor Application Requirements

  1. Vendor Application – Complete the application truthfully. This information will help us determine whether to approve or deny your vendor application. Incomplete or vague responses may result in denial.

  2. Products/Services –Submit a detailed list of all products and/or services to be sold.

    • General descriptions are not acceptable (i.e. novelties, toys, cookware). If needed, attach a picture of your wares. Any items not listed or approved will not be allowed in the vendor’s leased space.

    • Prohibited Products: Balloons, laser pointers/pens, potato guns, blow guns, realistic toy guns/weapons, piercing, permanent tattoos, sale of firearms, fortune telling/psychic reading

  3. Marketing Materials – Submit samples of any brochures or literature you plan to distribute to attendees.

  4. Promotions & Contests – Indicate if you will be holding any drawings or contests.

  5. Audio Usage – State whether you will be using a microphone or speaker for any reason.

  6. Space Assignments – Fair Management will make every effort to accommodate requested space locations for approved vendors. However, final space assignments will be determined based on the following considerations:

    • Optimal use of available space

    • Visual appeal of booth space

    • Avoiding product oversaturation

Pricing

  • Leased Space Agreement payments are non-refundable.

  • Non-refundable Application fee of $25.

Indoor Commercial Booth Spaces (Old Exhibit Building)
  • 10x10 space - $150

  • 10x20 space - $175

  • 10x10 Non-Profit space - $25

Outdoor Commercial Booth Spaces
  • 10x10 space - $150

  • 10x20 space - $175

  • 10x10 Non-Profit space - $25

Payments: All spaces must be paid for by the deadlines (see Vendor Handbook). Failure to pay by the deadlines may result in additional fees and/or loss of space with no refund. Fees must be paid in cash or check.

Waiver: Applicants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sanpete County, the Sanpete County Fair Board, volunteers, and sponsors from any claims, suits, losses or other actions arising from injuries or accidents attributable to applicants’ activities whether or not such injury or accident involves applicants’, employees, agents, guests, invitee’s, or a member of the general public. Vendors are fully responsible for their own items and any damage that may occur from the weather.

Tax: Any and all sales taxes incurred as a result of sales during the Sanpete County Fair are the responsibility of the individual vendor. Applicants are responsible for the collection and payment of all sales taxes as well as all other taxes and assessments attributable to the applicant’s activities. Per state statute, each vendor will be assigned a temporary tax ID number from the state of Utah and information on all vendors will be submitted to the State Tax Commission.

Electricity: Electricity will not be provided

Security: The applicant understands that there will be no security provided for any booths or equipment at the Fairgrounds. Booths and valuables will be left at the park overnight at the applicant’s own risk.

Quality Provision: The Vendor will maintain and uphold a family-oriented theme while renting, displaying and selling products during the Sanpete County Fair. If the Sanpete County Fair Board deems sales inappropriate, undesirable, or lacking in quality, they reserve the right to terminate the sale of any item or prevent any activity at any time.

Overnight Parking/Camping: Unless specific permission is granted by the Sanpete County Fair Board overnight camping or parking is not allowed on the Fairgrounds. All vehicles must be removed to the Fairground parking lot during open Fair Times each day.

The Sanpete County Fair Board Retains the Right to terminate any application or regain possession of booth space at any time.

General Expectations of Vendors

  1. Vendors must have leased spaces staffed and open to the public during the open hours of the Fair or will receive a $50 fine per location, per incident for every 15 min of infraction.

  2. All vendors will be responsible for the conduct and personal appearance of all staff.

  3. Signage:

    • All signage should be professionally generated and made of high quality, commercial-grade materials or at minimum printed, laminated, and branded for appearance.

    • Signage and must not impede or be a safety hazard for pedestrian traffic.

    • No handwritten signs are allowed with the exception of attractively produced chalk signs.
