The fair is free to the general public. The events that require tickets do cost. Those events are the: Demolition Derby, RMPA Rodeos, Cowboy Poetry Concert, and Miss Sanpete and Miss Outstanding Teen Pageants. There are some fees to participate in some of the events. Please see individual events for details. The carnival rides also are a separate cost.

The fair typically takes place in late August. Exact dates vary each year—check the Home page for current dates.
