Sanpete County Fair
A Sanpete Tradition Since 1916

Volunteer
The Sanpete County Fair is so much more than bright lights, midway rides, and great food. It’s an tradition that draws a crowd of over 300,000 people. The Utah State Fair would not be possible without the hard work and eagerness of our volunteers, who are essential to make many of our exhibits fun and engaging. Most positions require no expertise or experience just a willingness to help make memorable experiences and have fun while doing it!
We are currently seeking energetic and enthusiastic Fair volunteers (including groups) in many areas. Check out the list below.
If you are over the age of sixteen with a guardian, or over the age of eighteen, and you’d like to participate, fill out the application and we will be in touch!
Before the Fair
Set-Up
Preparing for the Fair takes the entire year. We always have projects to work on. As the Fair gets closer, the work increases, and we rely heavily on volunteers to make it all come to life!
From building exhibits, preparing buildings, hanging banners to setting up displays, there is a never-ending list of things to get ready for the state's largest event.
During the Fair
Fun on the Farm
This exhibit is typically run by FFA groups, but occasionally, we fall short. Help run this fun exhibit as kids ages 2-10 experience life on the farm, kid style. Great opportunity for groups!
Ticketing
The Sanpete County Fair typically has three major ticketed events; Thursday night Rodeo, Friday night Demolition Derby, and Saturday night Rodeo. Helping people get into the stands in a timely and effective manner is always a struggle and having more hands on deck is always appreciated.
Photography
We are always in need of more photos. Share with us your experiences at the fair and we will share them all around. Help fill out our website and social media for others to see what fun they could have at the Sanpete County Fair.
