About the event

Small Animal Barn Open for Visitors

The Small Animal Barn invites visitors to explore a variety of small animals, offering an educational and interactive experience. Attendees can see rabbits, chickens, ducks, and exotic birds. The barn prioritizes animal care and well-being. Educational signage provides information on species habitats, behaviors, and care, promoting animal welfare and responsible pet ownership. The barn also showcases the dedication of local youth in 4-H and FFA programs, highlighting agricultural education and encouraging future engagement in farming and animal husbandry. The lively atmosphere, filled with animal sounds, enhances the fair experience. Overall, the Small Animal Barn is a must-visit for a fun, educational, and heartwarming experience with small animals, appealing to both seasoned animal lovers and newcomers.

The Small Animal Barn continues to make improvements each year. Larger birds, such as geese and turkeys, will have permanent pens this year, and fancy pigeon breeds will have access to cage liners to protect their feathered feet. We will have plenty of room for exhibitors to showcase their furry and feathered friends. Please review the exhibitor guidelines below. If you would like to volunteer in the Small Animal Barn during the fair, please contact Brandi Reber @ 435-201-0423.
